Get started as easily as possible: we'll show you step by step how to set up your account, import your transactions, and create your first tax-compliant report. Stay in control of your portfolio and avoid common tax mistakes right from the start.

1. Import Your Transactions

Start by choosing the exchange, wallet or blockchain you want to connect to your CoinTracking account. Pro-tip: Start with the exchange you use most. This will give you a solid foundation in your dashboard. Goal: Fully automated imports – complete, regular, and error-free.

Choose the Import Method That Suits You Best

API Import, CSV Import, or Manual Import

API Import (Recommended): Connect your wallets or exchanges directly via API. CoinTracking will automatically import all transactions and keep them updated. CSV Import: Export CSV files from your exchanges and upload them into CoinTracking. Other Options: Add individual transactions manually or import custom file formats with full flexibility.
